Eastchester Fire Department
In 1897, independent fire companies from the Town of Eastchester and the Village of Tuckahoe and Village of Bronxville came together to form the Eastchester Fire District consisting of 5 Fire Houses located in the district protecting and serving the entire 3 communities.
For over 100 years the Eastchester Fire District has been providing fire protection and other emergency services throughout the district. The departments staff is made up of both career firefighters and volunteer firefighters, making The Eastchester Fire District one of the largest combined departments in the state
