Through the Village
Clerk Bronxville residents may obtain dog licenses and
permanent or temporary handicapped parking permits. The
clerk also issues local permits and licenses for gardeners,
mechanical amusement devices and taxi drivers. You may apply in person or through the mail to the
Registrar of Vital Statistics for birth and death certificates for anyone
who was born or died in Lawrence Hospital.

a letter containing the following information:
name, date of birth, place of birth, father's
first and last names and mother's first and
maiden names of the person named on the birth
certificate; and

the applicant provides a copy of his/her driver's license with his/her
current name and address along with his/her relationship to the person
named on the certificate |

If the applicant's return address is a Post Office Box, with no
street address, or the return address is to a third party, a
notarized signed consent of the person named on the birth
certificate or other person eligible to obtain the copy is always
required. |

Amusement Licenses
 |
If
you have a manually operated or mechanical
amusement device on your premises located within
the boundaries of the Village of Bronxville you
must obtain a license through the Village Clerk
at Village Hall or call (914) 337-6500. |

Dog
Licenses
 |
Every
dog, regardless of age, owned or harbored in
New York State for longer than 30 days must
be licensed in the town or city where the dog is being harbored. The following are the only license
exemptions:
• If the dog is under six months of age and not running-at-large (off the owner's premises)
• Dogs harbored in New York City (these dogs must be licensed by the NYC Department of Health)
• Dogs confined to the premises of any public or private hospital, research institution or a Class A Dealer with a certificate of exemption from the Commissioner

Fishing (New York State Sporting License) These licenses are
not issued through the Village. You can

Marriage
Licenses

The
Village DOES NOT issue marriage
licenses. You can obtain one at any
TOWN or CITY. |

Taxi Driver
License
 |
Any
person operating a taxicab in the Village of
Bronxville shall have in force and effect a
taxicab license issued under the direction
of the Chief of Police. You must
contact the police department at (914)
337-0500 to obtain information. |
