    Individual counseling and support groups offered for children, teens

    and adults who have experienced a loss.  Community outreach

    through educational programs also available.

EASTCHESTER CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

    Offers a full day child care program for both working and 

    non-working families and for those who qualify under Federal

    Head Start income guidelines.  Children from two years nine

    months through kindergarten may be accepted.  The Program

    is operated by FCS, Inc. and is licensed by the New York State

    Department of Social Services and operated under the State

    and Federal guidelines.  

    Hours:  7:30 AM - 6:00 pm weekdays.

BRONXVILLE YOUTH COUNCIL

    Offers social and educational programs for youths under the

    guidance of a paid director.  Supervises volunteer programs.

    Referral and crisis intervention as needed.  Volunteer adult board.

    Eligibility:  Bronxville youths grades 9 - 12

    Hours:  Mon-Fri; 8:00 AM - 12 PM

EASTCHESTER OFFICE FOR THE AGING

    Meals delivered to frail, isolated seniors in Eastchester,

    Bronxville and Tuckahoe.  Delivery Monday through

    Friday, voluntary contribution.

    Bed and bath services offered to the frail elderly.  Two

    hours of personal care and changing of bed linens.

    Call office for information.

    Light housekeeping and laundry provided for two hours

    every 3 to 4 weeks.  Fee for the service and appoint-

    ments in advance.

    Evaluations, information and referral to proper agencies.

    Coordination of services to assist the older person.

    Assistance in finding home health aides, companions and drivers.

    Flu vaccine clinic, social security & medicare updates, alternative

    housing information and bed and bath programs for the

    permanently homebound.

    Provide organized recreational programs, luncheons and meetings.

    reservation required, voluntary contribution.
