| The hospital provides emergency care
to approximately 26,000 individuals every year. Its modern
emergency services include specialized clinical "team" treatment
for heart attack patients which ensures rapid intervention

Acute care is provided to
more than 9,000 patients every year. Lawrence Hospital Center's
physicians provide expertise in virtually every area of medical
specialty and include over 100 primary care physicians. Lawrence
delivers over 1,500 babies every year in the home-like setting
of newly designed labor-delivery recovery rooms. With 17.5%
adults age 65 and over in the communities it serves, Lawrence
cares for approximately 4,000 seniors a year in an inpatient
acute care environment. |

Lawrence Hospital Center's range of outpatient services includes
the latest in diagnostic testing and laboratory services,
ambulatory surgery options, and rehabilitation and sports
medicine services. Outpatient physical therapy, speech and
occupational therapy services are provided both on-site at
the Hospital and at Lawrence's satellite center in Scarsdale.
Lawrence Community Health Services includes home care, hospice
care and bereavement services.
